This beautiful painting is part of British artist Adébayo Bolaji´s solo show “To Speak Out Loud”. In his second show at the gallery Bolaji who lives in London and has Nigerian roots takes the protest action of young Nigerians against police arbitrariness as a starting point to reflect on the power of the voice. The renowned artist who had a solo show at SAATCHI GALLERY this year uses this event as one of the multiple traces in the true search for his own as an intellectual with Nigerian roots.
