Der Künstler Lorenz Friedrich arbeitet primär mit Holz und Metall. Die Figur dieses Werkes wurden aus Eiche geschnitzt und auf einen ebenfalls aus Holz geschnitzten Haushaltsschwamm gesetzt um sie so darzustellen als würde sie Golf spielen.
Die Figuren reagieren erfrischend spielerisch auf ihre Umgebung. Friedrich’s Skulpturen werden als Miniatur Abbildungen von Menschen durch ihre Gestik und Posen zum Leben erweckt.
