About the artist
Radu Belcin wurde 1978 in Brasov (Rumänien) geboren. 1993 bis 1997 studierte er Grafik an der Kunsthochschule Brasov (RO). 1997 bis 2002 folgte ein Studium Malerei bei Prof. Florin Ciubotaru und Prof. Valeriu Mladin an der National University of Art „Nicolae Grigorescu” in Bukarest (RO). 2001 nahm er an dem Workshop “Szenografie und Licht” der Moving Academy for Performing Arts in Amsterdam (NL) und an dem Workshop “Szenografie” der Toaca Cultural Foundation – Toaca Contemporary Art Studio (RO) teil. 2002 bis 2003 folgte ein Aufbaustudium bei Prof. Stefan Câltia an der National University of Art Bukarest „Nicolae Grigorescu”(RO). Radu Belcin lebt und arbeitet in Brasov (RO).
Radu Belcin was born in Brasov (Romania) in 1978. From 1993 to 1997 he studied graphics at the Brasov Art College (RO).
