Flavia Pitis wurde 1978 in Brasov (RO) geboren. Von 1997 bis 2002 studierte sie an der National University of Fine Arts “Nicolae Grigorescu” in Bukarest (RO). Von 2000 bis 2001 unterrichete sie an der Fakultät für Kommunikation und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit “David Ogilvy”. Bukarester SOLO & GRUPPE. 2001 nahm Pitis teil an einem Workshop für Szenografie und Licht an der Moving Academy for Performing Arts, Amsterdam und Toaca Cultural Foundation – Toaca Studio für Zeitgenössische Kunst. 2004 erhielt sie ein Forschungsstipendium zur Bildtheorie, Florenz (IT). Flavia Pitis lebt und arbeitet in Brasov.

From 2000 to 2001 she held classes at the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations “David Ogilvy”. Bucharest SOLO & GROUP. In 2001 Pitis participated in a workshop for scenography and lighting at the Moving Academy for Performing Arts, Amsterdam and Toaca Cultural Foundation – Toaca Studio for Contemporary Art. In 2004 she received a research grant on image theory, Florence (IT). Flavia Pitis lives and works in Brasov.
